January night

saw you
coming
down the street

cold darkness

warmed
so close to you
to hear
your music

Reminds you
of
her

you're in love
and you tell
me that
she loves you
but
not in love

I love you too
not in love
but love

quiet moment
in the street
listening
to
love
in the hood
in your presence
in your aura
a perfect hug

I almost cried
as I
walked
away
I almost cried

I love you
but not in love
